续作以前作F4毕业之后10年的英德学院为舞台，根据前作漫画家神尾叶子的续集漫画改编。杉咲花饰演前化妆品大厂社长的千金小姐江户川音，因公司倒闭而过着贫穷的生活。平野紫耀饰演神乐木集团的公子，为恢复F4时期英德学园的光辉，成立类似团体C5；他人前自称“道明寺第二”，实则心理脆弱，经不住打击。中川大志饰演江户川音的婚约者，英德学园对手校桃乃圆学院的学生会长。 杉咲花出生于97年，在日本“冲奥片”《滚烫的爱》中与宫泽理惠合作，获得多个大奖的肯定，此次将是她首次在电视剧中担当女主角。平野紫耀与“道明寺”松本润同属杰尼斯事务所，与永濑廉、高桥海人组成小杰尼斯组合Mr.KING。98年的中川大志童星出身，虽年纪轻轻，但有着丰富的表演经历。 不用等到电视剧播出，光是看着这人设，已经能够脑补出一出三角恋的狗血大戏。不过这万年不变的老梗，还是有人喜欢看呀。。Disarmingly realistic in its depiction of the realities of frontier life, Heartland is a strong antidote to the cliches of traditional Westerns. This semi-documentary slice of life is based on the diaries of Elmore Randall Stewart about her days on the Wyoming frontier in the early 20th century. It's a strongly feminist statement about a woman raising her small daughter alone and scrapping for a living by working for a shy Scottish rancher. Director Richard Pearce brings an endearing touch to a film that is helped greatly by the dazzling cinematography of Fred Murphy. Conchata Ferrell and Rip Torn star in this small film that substitutes veracity for a high-powered plot. Pearce worked as a cinematographer on Woodstock and other documentaries before making his directorial debut. Winner of the 1980 Berlin Golden Bear at the Berlin Film Festival。
